My Approach
My Therapeutic Approach
I am a licensed therapist, offering support to clients across the UK and Europe. With more than 17 years of professional experience, I bring an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on different methods to meet your individual needs.
Over the years, I’ve helped clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, confidence struggles, life transitions, and professional or executive coaching. My focus is always on tailoring our work together to what will support you most effectively.
At the heart of my practice is creating a safe, open, and confidential space where you can share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. I see therapy as a collaborative process - I walk alongside you as you explore who you are, uncover your strengths, and move toward meaningful change.
A growing number of high-quality studies show that online therapy can be as effective as in-person therapy, particularly for treating conditions like anxiety, depression, stress, and PTSD. Research also shows that when therapy is guided by a trained therapist (rather than entirely self-help), outcomes tend to improve even more. Because it removes logistical barriers (like travel, mobility, timing, and location), online therapy enhances accessibility and engagement without sacrificing quality or safety.
Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and balanced life takes courage. I am here to support and guide you on that journey.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of cognitive-behavioural therapy that helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that align with their values. Its goal is to build psychological flexibility, so individuals can live more fully and meaningfully even in the presence of challenges.
Attachment-Based Therapy
Attachment-Based Therapy focuses on exploring how early relationships with caregivers shape a person’s sense of security, self-worth, and patterns in current relationships. It helps clients build healthier connections by addressing unresolved attachment wounds and fostering trust, safety, and emotional regulation.
Client-Centred Therapy
Client-Centred Therapy, developed by Carl Rogers, emphasises creating a supportive environment where clients feel accepted, understood, and empowered to find their own solutions. It relies on empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness from the therapist to foster personal growth and self-discovery.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps people identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours that contribute to emotional distress. It focuses on developing practical coping strategies and problem-solving skills to improve wellbeing in the present.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) combines cognitive-behavioural techniques with mindfulness to help people manage intense emotions and reduce self-destructive behaviours. It emphasises building skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and acceptance.
Eye Movement Desensitisation Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy designed to help people process and heal from traumatic memories. It uses guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to reduce the emotional intensity of distressing experiences.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help clients enter a trance-like state where they can access the subconscious mind more easily. In this state, people can explore thoughts, feelings, and memories, or adopt new perspectives and behaviours to support positive change.
Mindfulness Therapy
Mindfulness Therapy encourages clients to develop present-moment awareness and a non-judgmental attitude toward their thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. By cultivating this awareness, it helps reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and break unhelpful patterns of reactivity.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, goal-oriented therapy that helps people resolve ambivalence and strengthen their motivation for change. It uses empathy, active listening, and guided questioning to support clients in finding their own reasons and confidence to move forward.
Narrative Therapy
Narrative Therapy helps people explore and reframe the stories they tell about their lives, separating themselves from their problems. By uncovering alternative perspectives, it empowers clients to build new, more positive narratives that support their values and strengths.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic Therapy focuses on uncovering unconscious thoughts, feelings, and past experiences that influence present behaviour and relationships. Through exploring these deeper patterns, it helps clients gain insight, resolve inner conflicts, and achieve personal growth.
Solution-Focussed Therapy
Solution-Focused Therapy emphasises clients’ strengths and resources, focusing on what is working well and what they want to achieve rather than on problems. It uses goal-setting and practical strategies to create small, realistic steps toward positive change.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic Therapy integrates mind and body by focusing on how trauma and stress are held physically, using techniques like breathwork, movement, and body awareness. It helps clients release tension, regulate their nervous system, and restore a sense of safety and connection.
Trauma-Focussed Therapy
Trauma-Focussed Therapy is specifically designed to help people process and recover from the impact of traumatic experiences. It combines evidence-based techniques to reduce distressing symptoms, build coping skills, and promote emotional healing in a safe, supportive environment.
Internal Family Systems
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own feelings and roles, often formed as coping strategies. It helps clients heal by fostering self-compassion, understanding these parts, and restoring balance under the guidance of the core Self.

The Process
The process begins with an initial session where we get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll listen to your story, learn about your goals, and answer any questions you may have. Together, we’ll decide how we’d like to work moving forward.
In our sessions, I use a compassionate and collaborative approach, drawing on Integrative approaches and other therapeutic tools to help you explore your inner world, understand patterns, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Past clients have found that this approach helps them feel more successful in therapy, as it provides both practical tools for dealing with day to day challenges and a deeper understanding of themselves.
Therapy is a journey we take at your pace - you’re always in control of what you want to share and focus on. Over time, our work together can help you build self-awareness, heal from past experiences, and feel more confident in creating the life and relationships you want.
